This week and last

Hello my dears, I hope you are well.

If you read last weeks post then you will know that the weather has been rather dire around here and has made it difficult to for me take any pictures of my thrifty finds. So for this weeks post I have picked the best of the finds from this week and last to put into one post. So without further ado....

I love the design on this Midwinter Stylecraft plate.

A retro tea set, again I love the design.

A Hornsea Pottery tea pot, I haven't seen this design before but will be looking out for more.

A chintzy saucer and embroidered tablecloth.

A wee Sadler teapot.

Another great design on this toffee tin. Such cute Poodles! Would you take the sticker off?

Some retro bedding that reminds me of when I was little.

A Meakin coffee pot to add to my collection.

Some pretty glassware.

And finally these sweet little row houses.

Hopefully the weather will pick up this week as we are now in the second week of the school holidays and haven't really been able to do much.

I hope that you have an interesting and thrifty week. To see what other people have found please go to see Sophie.

I bought 6 50's coloured glasses last week, trouble is they won't stack and I can't find a place for them, ah the joys of collecting

  11. Great finds and such an awesome and ecclectic mix of styles and eras!! Hmm, I vote for moving the sticker off the picture if you can safely - pop it on the bottom or something. Seems a shame to cover the gorgeous picture but I guess from a collector point of view it should stay put? Personally, I'd move it. :)

  12. What amazing finds, the glassware is really pretty, I have a little glass bowl identical. I am not sure what they are for but I use them as tea light holders. The tin is great , I am a bit of a tin addict ! I don't usually go for more retro styles but I really like the pretty Hornsea tea pot and the Midwinter plate.

  13. What great finds! I especially love chintz: I wandered into an antique centre and looked longingly at their cabinets full of chintz! The poodle tin is so cute, and what a great sheet: I actually have it in a purple/green/blue colourways:
